Titan Comics Announces Tekken Comics
Titan Comics has announced it is teaming up with Bandai Namco Entertainment to publish brand-new comics in 2017; based on the best-selling, knockout fighting video game series, Tekken!
The King of the Iron Fist tournament awaits! First appearing in Tekken for arcades in 1994, and then on the Playstation platform in 1995, the Tekken series lets the player to choose from a number of unique warriors who battle against other competitors in the Iron Fist Tournament for ultimate victory and control of the next tournament.
The TEKKEN franchise is the biggest ever selling fighting video game series with an incredible 42.5 million units sold to date. Tekken 7, the latest in the smash-hit series, launched in arcades in 2015 and is due to arrive on Playstation 4 and Xbox One game consoles, and Microsoft Windows, in early 2017.
This sensational new comic series will tap into Tekken’s rich history, and will feature memorable characters from the celebrated video game canon including Heihachi Mishima, Yoshimitsu, Nina Williams and Paul Phoenix.

Wizard World Tapped as Exclusive Amateur Tour for Tekken 7
Wizard World, Inc. and Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announces that the arcade version of Tekken 7, the latest chapter of the popular fighting game franchise published by Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc., will be featured at Wizard World comic con, pop culture and gaming conventions throughout 2016.
Fans attending Wizard World Portland will have a thrilling opportunity to play Tekken 7 at a touring event in North America in 2016. The Tekken franchise has garnered a passionate and loyal following in North America and we’re enabling these fans to experience Tekken 7 starting in Portland. There, attendees will enjoy both free-play and a sanctioned tournament during the event that is taking place February 19-21 at the Oregon Convention Center.
As previously announced; Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. is the Official Anime Entertainment Partner for the 2016 Wizard World comic con and gaming tours, bringing Bandai Namco Entertainment games to fans throughout the country.
Tekken 7 will be one of the marquee titles that Bandai Namco Entertainment America will have featured at Wizard World events all year. The gaming leader’s presence at Wizard World shows will be even greater in 10 key markets that will feature major gaming activations and an eSports tournament streaming stage: Portland, Ore. (Feb. 19-21); St. Louis (April 1-3); Minneapolis (May 6-8); Philadelphia (June 2-5); Sacramento, Calif. (June 17-19); Columbus, Ohio (July 29-31); Orlando, Fla. (August 5-7); Chicago (August 18-21); Austin, Texas (September 23-25); and Pittsburgh (November 4-6).
Round 2 of Street Fighter X Tekken Minimates is About to Commence!
The second series of Street Fighter X Tekken Minimates is fighting its way to stores as we speak, featuring some of the biggest names in both franchises! Each mixed two-pack includes two Minimates, one from the Street Fighter universe and one from Tekken, each standing 2 inches tall with 14 points of articulation. Look for them in comic shops and specialty stores on January 2nd, and at Toys “R” Us soon afterwards, with exclusive characters at both locations!
