VIZ Media Launches New Shojo Manga Series Queen’s Quality

VIZ Media delivers the sequel to shojo manga creator Kyousuke Motomi’s acclaimed series, QQ Sweeper, with the launch of Queen’s Quality on September 5th.

Queen’s Quality is rated ‘T’ for Teens and will be published under the Shojo Beat imprint. Volume 1 will carry a print MSRP of $9.99 U.S. / $12.99 CAN. The series also launches digitally via VIZ.com and the VIZ Manga App, as well as from the Nook, Kobo, Kindle, iBooks, comiXology, and Google Play stores. Subsequent volumes of the series, which is ongoing in Japan, will be published in English four times a year.

In Queen’s Quality, Fumi Nishioka lives with Kyutaro Horikita and his family of “Sweepers,” people who specialize in cleaning the minds of those overcome by negative energy and harmful spirits. Fumi has always displayed mysterious abilities, but will those powers be used for evil when she begins to truly awaken as a Queen?

The gender-bending comedy about a twin brother and sister who switch identities was created by Go Ikeyamada and will be rated ‘T’ for Teens. So Cute It Hurts!! will be published in print under the Shojo Beat imprint and will carry an MSRP of $9.99 U.S. / $12.99 CAN. After all, how hard can it be for them to play each other?

VIZ Media Marks the 10th Anniversary of Shojo Beat

Viz Media Expands their Shojo Manga Rosters with 2 New Series

ShojoBeat-Logo-smVIZ Media has expanded its shojo manga (graphic novel) catalog with the announcement two new titles – Idol Dreams, by famed creator Arina Tanemura, and QQ SWEEPER, by creator Kyousuke Motomi.

Both of the new series will be published under the company’s Shojo Beat imprint and will launch in print and also digitally via VIZManga.com and the VIZ MANGA App. The titles also will be available from select VIZ Media content partners’ digital platforms. QQ Sweeper is set to debut in October; Idol Dreams will launch in November.

Viz Media Launches Sexy New Shojo Manga Series Yukarism

Yukarism_GN01_3DVIZ Media entices shojo manga (graphic novel) readers with the print and digital launch of the new series – Yukarism – on December 2nd.

The nostalgia-tinted historical romance comes from creator Chika Shiomi, who is widely known among manga fans for her series Yurara and Rasetsu (both available from VIZ Media). Yukarism will be published under the Shojo Beat imprint and is rated ‘T’ for Teens. Print MSRP will be $9.99 U.S. / $12.99 CAN.

A digital version of Yukarism, Vol. 1 also debuts on December 2nd for $6.99 (USD/CAN) from VIZManga.com and through the VIZ MANGA App. Digital volumes of Yukarism can also be purchased through the Nook, Kobo, Kindle, iBooks and GooglePlay stores. Viz Announces New Shojo Series Honey Blood & Black Bird Box Set

VIZ Media has announced the release of a new 3-in-1 omnibus edition for the manga series High School Debut.

The opening omnibus volume from the Shojo Beat imprint contains the first 3 volumes of the hit series by Kazune Kawahara, is rated ‘T’ for Teens, and will carry an MSRP of $14.99 U.S. / $16.99 CAN. VIZ Media will release Vol. 2 of the 3-in-1 adaptations on May 6th. The final 3-in-1 volume (Vol. 5) will contain the series finale as well as 2 additional volumes of special side stories and collected new material that has never before been published in English.

Hapless Haruna needs help finding a boyfriend!
