Rick Remender and Max Fiumara team for The Sacrificers

Writer Rick Remender joins forces with artist Max Fiumara to take readers to the ethereal, science fiction world of The Sacrificers. This all-new, ongoing series—which was teased to fans with a special Free Comic Book Day edition earlier this month—will officially launch in August from Image Comics.

This epic new story joins Remender’s vast body of beloved creator-owned work with top tier artists under the Giant Generator imprint at Image. In this tradition, the debut issue of The Sacrificers will feature eye-melting variant covers by artists Julian Totino Tedesco, Tula Lotay, Jenny Frison, Matteo Scalera, J.G. Jones, Nic Klein, J.H. Williams III, and Mike Mignola alongside series artist Fiumara.

In The Sacrificers, tomorrow is a harmonious paradise thanks to five families who make everything perfect…for the price of one child per household. Now, as that bill comes due, a son expected to give everything for a family that never loved him and an affluent daughter determined to destroy utopia who must now unite to end one generation’s unnaturally protracted reign.

Marvel celebrates 60 years of Avengers with new Variant Covers

This year marks 60 incredible years of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes! In addition to launching a brand-new era of Avengers under writer Jed MacKay and artist C.F. Villa, Marvel will celebrate the team’s milestone with stunning new variant covers by 2023’s class of Marvel Stormbreakers! This group of elite artists have spotlighted their favorite eras from throughout Avengers history in stunning artwork that adorn the covers of Marvel’s hottest titles this June. Across eight covers, see nods to pivotal moments throughout the decades including the debut of Cap’s Kooky Quartet, Spidey joining the team, and more.

Each month, Marvel’s Stormbreakers bring their incredible talents to your favorite comic series and characters and flex their skills with exciting themed variant cover collections. The current group of artists includes Elena Casagrande, Nic Klein, Jan Bazaldua, Chris Allen, Martin Coccolo, Lucas Werneck, Federico Vicentini, and C.F. Villa. Each of these artists embody the raw talent and creative potential to shatter the limits of visual storytelling in comics today! On April 12, Marvel’s band of cosmic super heroes begin an exciting new era in Guardians of the Galaxy #1 by writers Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing and artist Kev Walker.
