Thursday, Mondo falls back into Gotham City with a celebration of all things Batman: The Animated Series. Kicking things off are a couple of brand new posters by Phantom City Creative for the episodes “Dreams in Darkness” and “Harley’s Holiday.”

Nobody has a grip on this iconic series quite like Phantom City Creative (PCC). Six years, dozens of posters, a gallery show, and a vinyl box set later… this still remains one of Mondo’s favorite artist/property pairings ever. PCC still have so much to say and plenty of episodes to spotlight… and this is just the beginning,

The Boys Gets 2XLP from Mondo

Mondo Music and Madison Gate Records have announced they’ll be releasing the vinyl record of the original soundtrack to Amazon‘s The Boys. The soundtrack is by Christopher Lennertz. The vinyl goes on sale at noon on Wednesday.

Based on the graphic novel of the same name, The Boys tackles our modern obsession with superheroes in media with a biting satire of modern politics and the abuse of power from a fictional League of Heroes who may need to be taken down a peg. Christopher Lennertz has composed a blistering, propulsive score for the darkly comedic series that adeptly parodies the musical landscape of propoganda, all while being a terrific soundtrack to the ensuing action drama that unfolds when the “Supes” collide with the titular anti-heroes tasked with being their checks and balances.

The album feature osriginal artwork by Jack Hughes, liner notes by composer Christopher Lennertz, series creators Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen, and showrunner Eric Kripke, and pressed on 2X 180 Gram “Compound V” colored vinyl (also available on 2X 180 Gram Black vinyl).

They also are offering free vinyl shipping domestically with a flat $10 fee for international. That runs until 11:59 PM on Wednesday.

Based on the seminal Batman: The Animated Series, the Batman 1/6 Scale Figure stays true to the television classic – sculpted to match the iconic style of the show.

Featuring approximately 30 points of articulation: multiple switch-out hands, heads, accessories, and a Bat Symbol figure stand.

The Mondo Exclusive version of Batman features an alternate black costume deco, as well as an unmasked Bruce Wayne head, and black folded cowl. In addition to this, it also features a blue folded cowl, for use on the original Batman 1/6 Scale Figure (sold separately), so you have the option to display the unmasked head on either version of the figure!

Marvel Studios’ Black Panther Original Motion Picture Soundtrack 3XLP from Mondo Music

Mondo Music and Hollywood Records present the Academy Award Winning complete score to Marvel Studios’ 2018 film Black Panther.

Composed by Ludwig Göransson, the score to Black Panther is unlike any other piece of music composed for a superhero film. Göransson’s commitment to authenticity stands out in every note, combining traditional African instruments and vocal performances from legendary performers such as a Baaba Maal, with a Hollywood symphony, for a one-of-a-kind sonic experience.

The complete album, available for the first time on vinyl, on a limited 3XLP pressing featuring stunning illustrated artwork by Martin Ansin.
