Radiant Pink joins the Radiant Black Massive-verse in December

Join streaming superstar Meghan Camarena, rising-star writer Melissa Flores, and third-generation comics artist Emma Kubert for the upcoming five issue miniseries Radiant Pink. This galaxy-hopping thrill ride will join Radiant Black, Rogue Sun, Radiant Red, The Dead Lucky, and C.O.W.L. in the expanding shared Massive-Verse of superheroes this December from Image Comics.

In Radiant Pink, life is good for Eva. Ever since teleporting superhero Radiant Pink (her secret alter ego) started guesting on her streams, her view count has skyrocketed—and fame and fortune are surely close behind. But when a charity appearance is interrupted by a squad of mercenaries hunting for the Radiant that powers her, Eva will find herself very far out of her comfort zone.

Kyle Higgins & Marcelo Costa’s breakout hit Radiant Black took superhero storytelling to new heights when it launched in 2021—but Radiant Black isn’t the only character inhabiting the growing Massive-Verse. Each character has a different story to tell, different adversaries to face… and they each occupy a very different corner of this shared superhero universe. Now’s the time to get into the Massive-Verse.

Radiant Pink #1 will be available on Wednesday, December 7 in print at comic book shops and digitally across many platforms, including Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, and Google Play:

  • Cover A Kubert – Diamond Code OCT220038
  • Cover B Tom Whalen – Diamond Code OCT220039
  • Cover C 1:25 copy incentive by Kelly McMahon – Diamond Code OCT220040

Image’s Massive-Verse is throwing a party ahead of C2E2

Join the Massive-verse team for a comic book event like no other! On Thursday, August 4 at 7 PM at the Embers Tap House in Lockport, Illinois, fans will have an exciting opportunity to meet up with the Massive-verse creators, including: Kyle Higgins, Melissa Flores, Marcelo Costa, Eduardo Ferigato, Ryan Parrott, Igor Monti, Mat Groom, Joe Clark, Alec Siegel, Laurence Holmes, and Michael Busuttil, and the Circle Guy News crew—for a Massive kick off to c2e2!

Fans who attend will enter Existence with unique narrative experiences that shine new light on the Radiants, visit the real world—reel world?—locations portrayed in the pages of Radiant Black (including Embers and the Roxy theatre in downtown Lockport), and partake in unique photo opportunities and surprise giveaway items.

Then, on Friday, August 5 at 1 PM at the McCormick Place Convention Center, c2e2 attendees are invited to head over to room S401 for the Across the Massive-verse panel. The Image Comics Massive-Verse is only getting started—and this panel is the only place to find out what’s next! Join Higgins, Ferigato, Parrott, Flores, Chen, Groom, and Busuttil for an exclusive Q&A guaranteed to spill the secrets of the Massive-Verse!

Higgins and Costa’s breakout hit Radiant Black took superhero storytelling to new heights when it launched—but Radiant Black isn’t the only character inhabiting the Massive-verse. There’s a whole universe for readers to explore! Characters like Rogue Sun, Inferno Girl Red, The Dead Lucky’s Bibiana—and more yet to be revealed—all occupy the Massive-verse. Each of them has a different story to tell, different adversaries to face… and they each occupy a very different corner of this shared universe.

Radiant Black and the Massive-Verse Expands with The Dead Lucky

Debut writer Melissa Flores unites with superstar artist French Carlomagno and colorist Mattia Iacono for an all-new Massive-Verse comic, The Dead Lucky. This ongoing series will launch from Image Comics this August.

In The Dead Lucky, San Francisco is changing. Tech consortium Morrow is building the city of the future with “peacekeeper” robots looming on every corner—and wherever Morrow isn’t, the Salvation gang is.

Bibiana Lopez-Yang is changing too. She came back from Afghanistan with PTSD and the ability to control electrical currents. If she can hold it together, she might be the hero San Francisco needs. But against an enemy this big, it isn’t enough to be good. She’ll have to be lucky.

Bad Idea Mega-Sizes their Comics with B-Side Stories

Bad Idea is delivering another good idea for their upcoming releases. The publisher isn’t releasing their comics digitally or in trades, instead, they’ll be oversized single issues packed with stories. And they’re packing those issues with brand-new, never-before-seen “B-Side” stories. These are short-form, self-contained comics. Each issue Bad Idea publishes will have an oversized, ad-free page count that will always feature a new “B-Side” tale.

Every month, that “B-Side” will feature a standalone, done-in-one dose of high potency comics storytelling unlike anything we’ve published before — new genres, new characters, new concepts.

The first “B-Side” launches in ENIAC #1 in March, the new comic from Matt Kindt, Tomas Giorello, and Diego Rodriguez. The comic will be 48 pages in a prestige format for $3.99.
