To say I dislike Walmart is an understatement and Marvel‘s continued partnering speaks volumes on their idea of corporate responsibility. But, I’m also a huge Lego fan and if you want a complete collection of Marvel Lego figures, you’ll have to make a deal with the devil.
If you pre-order the upcoming Lego Marvel Super Heroes video games from Walmart in the U.S. you’ll get an exclusive minifig of Iron Patriot.

Toy Fair is kicking off and we’re getting a look at the Lego sets which will be based off of this summer’s Iron Man 3. Some spoilers I guess as far as plotline and does that “showdown” set has anyone else worried?
What you will notice is subtle changes in some of those Iron Man figures, so expect to see some new Iron Man suits (but we already knew that).

Yesterday it was announced the video game Lego Marvel Superheroes will be hitting shelves later this year and now here’s some footage of the game.
I expected this one eventually, but it looks like we’ll be getting the video game treatment for Marvel’s super heroes in Lego form in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes. This will be the latest entry in the beloved video game franchise which mixes some great game play, story telling, humor all mixed with Lego awesomeness. The game will be be published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developed by TT Games and should hit shelves this Fall 2013 for the Xbox 360, PS3, Vita, Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS and PC. In the press release announcing the game this is the “first installment” so expect to see more in the future like we’ve seen with past franchises.
Currently, the Lego Marvel sets include sets based on the X-Men, Iron Man, Spider-Man and Avengers and more sets are to come based on Iron Man 3. Those sets hit shelves later this spring.
The plot of the video game has been released:
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes offers an original storyline in which Nick Fury calls upon Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other heroes spanning the Marvel Universe to save Earth from such threats as the vengeance of Loki and the hunger of Galactus, Devourer of the Worlds. LEGO and Marvel fans will enjoy classic LEGO videogame adventure and humor, while playing as their favorite Marvel characters.
The video game will feature more than 100 characters that can be unlocked from across the Marvel Universe including fan favorites like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain America, the Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Deadpool, Loki and Galactus! The game will pack in a plethora of super-cool character abilities, combat-like action sequences, epic battle scenes, puzzle-solving and a unique story told with playful Lego humor.
