Voice actor and author Joe Zieja has been confirmed by Otakorp Inc. as a guest for Otakon 2021.
Zieja is a former USAF officer, now a voice actor and author in Los Angeles. Fans have heard him as Claude Von Riegan in “Fire Emblem: Three Houses”; Cesar in “Just Cause 4”; Fox McCloud in “Star Fox Zero: The Battle Begins”; Achilles in “Fate/Apocrypha”; and many other anime and video game roles, as well as sidekick Issei Hoshino in “Yakuza: Judgment.”
He’s the author of the “Epic Failure Trilogy,” a whimsical, military sci-fi series described as “Terry Pratchett in space.” The third book was released in September 2019 from Simon and Schuster, and Zieja narrates the audiobook version.
In addition, Zieja runs a YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/JoeZieja) where he teaches voice acting basics (as well as engaging in some shenanigans). On his Twitch channel (www.twitch.tv/JoeZieja), he streams games he’s acted in and talks about voice acting with fans.
Otakon takes place August 6-8 in Washington, DC.
