Artists, Writers, and Artisans (AWA) has announced the upcoming Kickstarter campaign giving Garth Ennis fans new ways to celebrate, collect and support the epic time travel heist series, Marjorie Finnegan, Temporal Criminalvia a deluxe director’s cut edition of the fan-favorite series. Penned by National Comics and two-time Eisner award-winning writer Garth Ennis with art by Goran Sudžuka and new wraparound cover art by Amanda Conner, the Kickstarter exclusive will take readers along for a wild ride in a beautifully crafted collector’s edition of the original series, now with a brand-new 20-page issue of this sci-fi story with time travel elements and a range of new and back matter.

Marjorie Finnegan, Temporal Criminal debuted as a heralded eight-issue comic series in 2021. The series reunited the Eisner Award-winning creator with AWA Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer Axel Alonso, who edited the graphic novel. The duo has a longstanding history of close collaboration, having worked together on past iconic projects including PREACHER at Vertigo and THE PUNISHER at Marvel. 

In November 2022, AWA Studios announced it has joined forces with LuckyChap and filmmaker Ruben Fleischer for the event feature film adaptation of the Marjorie Finnegan, Temporal Criminal graphic novel. AWA Studios is producing the project alongside LuckyChap and Camp Hobart, with celebrated screenwriter and playwright Catya McMullen penning the adaptation. Garth Ennis and Ken F. Levin will executive produce the action-comedy-thriller film project.

BOOM! Studios has revealed a first look at Underheist #1. The hit Stray Bullets creative team of David & Maria Lapham, along with colorist Hilary Jenkins, brings a hellish new hardboiled heist series in Underheist, available December 13, 2023.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

After a losing fight to gambling addiction, David hits rock bottom and decimates his personal life in the process. He’d do anything for one last chance to get on the straight and narrow and set things right.

He may just be in luck, if you can call it that. Through the grapevine David learns of a heist–one involving a tunnel system that no one knows better than the former NYC subway veteran. One last job and he’s home free. All he needs to do is make it out alive.

Keep the spooky going in November with Creepshow Vol. 2 #3. Get a look!

Skybound has conjured a first look at pages from Creepshow Vol. 2 #3the latest issue of the hugely anticipated five-issue comic book anthology based on Greg Nicotero’s hit Shudder TV series produced and licensed by Cartel Entertainment. Season 4 of the hit Shudder TV series of the same name premieres October 13 on AMC and AMC+. 

Creepshow Vol.2 #3 features stories by Eisner Award winner Zoe Thorogood, Joel Farrelly, and Goran Sudžuka and will arrive in comic book shops on November 8, 2023. 

First, recent 2023 Eisner Award winner for Most Promising Newcomer Zoe Thorogood tells the story of a woman who discovers the fountain of youth, and the terrifying journey into “Eternity, Eternity, Eternity”. Then, nightmarish novelist Joel Farrelly teams up with ghoulish Goran Sudžuka to tell the tale of a gem heist gone wrong with a Lovecraftian twist in “Sacrifices”.

Panel Syndicate has added a new comic to its platform, Martine Moon from Darko Macan and Goran Sudžuka. You can get the first issue of the three-issue series now as pay what you want.

Martine Moon is an action adventure story in the tradition of the newspaper strips of old and presented in a similar widescreen, black-and-white format.
