Gecco Corp. Reveals Bloodborne Arms Collection

Gecco Corp. has announced that they’re producing Bloodborne Hunters‘ weapons as 1/6 scale pre-painted models.

The prototype of Hunter Axe was revealed at a fan event in Osaka hosted by FromSoftware. Many more weapons will be lined up and includes the Hunter Axe, Saw Cleaver, Hunter Blunderbuss, and more. They’re being sculpted by Shinya Akao and digitally sculpted by Masaki Akao.

It’s fun to collect, and you can also have the Hunter 1/6 Scale Statue hold the weapons.

The products will be released in 2016.

Berserk 1/8 Scale Resin Model Kits in February

Gecco Corp. has announced that “Berserk 1/8 Scale Resin Model Kit” joins their product lineup. The two big characters from Berserk, Guts and Zodd are recreated as resin model kits with powerful pose and fine details. They will be released in February 2016, and the pre-orders are open at Gecco online store till Dec. 10th, 2015

SDCC 2015: Metal Gear Exclusive figure by Gecco

Gecco Corp. has revealed their exclusive figure for this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. At this year’s convention, you’ll be able to pick up the Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes “Jamais Vu”/Raiden 1/6 Scale Statue, White Armor Variant.

In contrast to the familiar clean shiny black armor of MGRR Raiden, this exclusive white version tells the story of his fierce battles, highlighting his damaged armor.

His usual weapons, the blades and scabbards, are changed to the giant rocket launcher on his back and the assault rifle in his right hand. The assault rifle can be displayed with or without the suppressor.

The base features sandbags piled high and a fallen sign, representing a classic stage of the video game.
The eye glows red with a mounted LED in the head. The effect of “Augment Mode” is added on the visor.

“Jamus VU” is the extra mission unlocked only after clearing the main story of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Raiden got called in to eliminate the mysterious bioroids known as “Snatchers” that had infiltrated the base by killing people and stealing their identities. The White Armor can be gained after completing this mission on normal difficulty.

Gecco Releases Info on their Berserk/Guts 1/6 scale statue

Gecco has released info about their 1/6 scale statue of Guts, the one-eye and one-armed swordsman from the dark fantasy comic Berserk created by Kentaro Miura. The statue is 1/6 scale and priced at $339.00 and features the character wielding his giant sword that’s almost as big as him! The powerful stance captures the attitude of the character, his giant sword “Dragonslayer” resting on his shoulder. This statue captures the motif of Guts’ fierce battles against the demons in Retribution Arc: Lost Children. His freshly used sword, along with the slain bodies on the base below, create a tense atmosphere.

The revenge story has been adapted into a variety of different media, from TV anime series, to films, trading cards and more. It won the prestigious comics excellence award of 6th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2002.

The statue was sculpted by Shinya Akao with a digital sculpt by Masaki Akao, and painting by Norifumi Dohi.

There are 2 heads included, capturing both “glaring” and “sneering” portraits. “The Brand of Sacrifice” is carved into the back of his neck with all the textures of the gadgets sculpted in exacting detail. Details as subtle as the hidden crossbow in the mantle were sculpted with the greatest of care, making no compromises. The “Apostle Spawn” cruelly slain, liter the base, a far contrast to the adorable “Puck” and “Behelit” hiding inside the swordsman’s pouch helps express the world of Berserk.

The pre-painted statue will be released September 2015.

Viz is Offering an Exclusive 1/6 Naruto Collectable at SDCC 2014

VIZ Media is teaming with Gecco for a special 1/6 scale Naruto masterpiece statue of the world’s most popular ninja, clad in 4^th Hokage coat version, to be offered exclusively at the VIZ Media booth (^#2813) during the San Diego Comic-Con 2014. The convention takes place July 23^rd-27^th.

In this limited edition version, Naruto Uzumaki is rendered in high quality full-color PVC, standing approximately 27cm tall and wearing the 4^th Hokage’s famous coat.
