Based on the popular comic series by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez, the first trailer for Locke & Key is here.
The project has been in the works for years with a pilot shot for Hulu that never aired (though shown at conventions) and the series wasn’t greenlit. Netflix picked up the series in 2018.
The series follows the Locke family whose patriarch is murdered. They move across the country to his ancestral home in New England. Keyhouse is huge and full of mystery, especially the magical keys hidden that open all kinds of doors.

action ramps up as Ellie learns more about Moreau’s experiments on the animals
that have been brought to the island. At the same time, the animals start to

“Comedy is hard. Dying is easy.” New York Times Best-selling author Joe Hill introduces the world to Syd “Sh*t-Talk” Homes – disgraced ex-cop, bitter stand-up comic, and wanted felon – this December with the launch of Dying is Easy, a new comic book miniseries from IDW Publishing.
Illustrated by Martin Simmonds, critically acclaimed artist of Punks Not Dead, this five-issue mystery draws readers into the dimly-lit venues and grimy back alleys of the comedy world, where every stand-up is looking out for themself, making enemies left and right.
When an upstart comedian with a particularly ugly past achieves stardom by stealing jokes, he quickly earns a target on his back. It’s not long before the laughter stops… and the gunplay begins.
The first issue of Dying is Easy will be available with multiple cover editions – Cover A by series artist Martin Simmonds, Cover B by Hill’s Locke & Key collaborator Gabriel Rodríguez, and two special Retailer Incentive editions: a black-and-white Rodríguez variant and character design wraparound by Simmonds.

IDW founder and Diablo House writer/co-creator Ted
Adams joins Locke & Key artist/co-creator
Gabriel Rodríguez to present an
all-new adaptation of H.G. Wells’ classic science fiction novel. As relevant
today as when Wells wrote it in 1896, The
Island of Doctor Moreau addresses the question all scientists should ask
themselves: “Just because we can do something, does that mean we should?”
This bold adaptation gives us a new
protagonist in the form of Ellen Prendick, whose point of view shines a new
light upon the horrific events on the cursed island, providing unique insights
into one of the world’s favorite stories.

sprawling epic begins inside a Nebraska dead letter office, where Randolph
Jaffe’s quest to possess the Art sets into motion a battle between the forces
of light and dark. This lushly illustrated tale is equal parts horror, fantasy,
and love by one of the masters of the genre. Also included is the horrific
standalone tale, “Seduth,” as well as annotations by writer Chris Ryall and artist Gabriel Rodriguez.
IDW Publishing founder and Diablo House writer/co-creator Ted Adams and Locke & Key artist/co-creator Gabriel Rodríguez will present an all-new interpretation of H.G. Wells’ classic science fiction novel, The Island of Dr. Moreau. Debuting in July, the two-part comic book tale of terror and evolution will be colored by Nelson Dániel and lettered by Robbie Robbins.
Remaining faithful to Wells’ plot, dialogue, and Victorian era setting, Adams and Rodríguez replaced Edward Prendick – the original witness protagonist – with a new creation, Ellen Prendick. Her inclusion allowed the creative team to explore a new version of one of the world’s favorite stories through the eyes of a more active character with a different and refreshing point of view on the cursed island’s horrific events.

IDW Publishing proudly announces that a brand-new Transformers series will debut in March 2019 that will explore the very moment when a glorious, peaceful Cybertron begins its downward spiral into chaos.
Available twice monthly, IDW’s Transformers comic will be written by Brian Ruckley, author of the Godless World fantasy trilogy, and illustrated by Angel Hernandez and Ron Joseph.
