“geekEd.” Bringing Geek Back to Higher Education – Join a panel of college professionals including Alex Belisario (UC Santa Cruz), Alfred Day (Semester at Sea), Ryan McRae (CSU San Marcos), Tyler Miller (Fresno State), and Emily Sandoval (Cal Poly San Luis Obispo) as they discuss how geek culture and college life can enhance one another.  Come learn how colleges can reach out to geeks, how geeks can use their identities to increase college success and find out what partnerships are being formed between college and pop culture.  If you are an industry or marketing professional, work at college, go to college or desire to do any of those, this panel is for you!
