From Gears 5’s brand new Escape mode, follow a whole new squad of soldiers with nothing to lose on a pulse-pounding mission, and dive deep into their story for the first time ever.
After successfully busting a Swarm hive on the remote island of Pahanu, Mac, Lahni, and Keegan will face their most dangerous task yet – and Mac will have to confront his past head-on. The only way they’ll survive this suicide mission is through sheer grit and a perfect balance of teamwork.
Set on the fictional plant of Sera, the Gears of War series charts the story of humanity’s struggle against an army of monstrous, fearsome, and brutal adversaries through a captivating tale of hope, comradery, and survival.
Fans have seen them attack fin-headed cops, iconic rock bands, and fellow denizens of the red planet, but now Dynamite presents Mars Attacks Red Sonja!
John Layman and artist Fran Strukan will chronicle the untold tale of when the dastardly Martians invaded Hyrkania during the Hyborian Age. Joined by colorist Valentina Briški and letterer maestro Taylor Esposito, the team will unravel this forgotten piece of history. How do the steel and savagery of Red Sonja stand up against the advanced weaponry and science of the big-brained baddies? Only one way to find out, by reading the ACK-ing book!
The explosive first issue features a crop of covers by the coolest creators. A man very well-versed in depicting the She-Devil With a Sword is Lucio Parrillo, who highlights the menace of the Martians. Fan-favorite Dustin Nguyen uses plenty of red and his signature style, and we’re not just referring to Sonja’s hair. Arthur Suydam evokes the classic era of science fiction that birthed the Mars Attacks franchise originally. Coming a long way from having fan art featured in an issue of Red Sonja (Vol 4 #7), is Luca Strati showing off a victorious Sonja. The legendary Barry Kitson swings through with a wraparound bursting with dynamism. And last but certainly not least is an incentive variant by Alan Quah homaging the classic trading cards.

The march to “The Joker War” continues with this preview of Nightwing #72, a tie-in issue to the event that will have deadly impact across the entire family of Bat-Titles!
Dick Grayson has learned the truth: that “fixing” his identity lies with none other than Barbara Gordon. He must go to Gotham to find Batgirl-and runs into The Joker’s new henchperson, Punchline. Unlike Harley Quinn, Punchline’s deadpan black humor matches the deadly knives she uses on her victims…and for her next joke, Ric Grayson is the punchline.

With the fate of all things hanging in the balance, the evil necromancer Kulan Gath must be resurrected — but can it be done without sacrificing another human being? Sonja and Chastity consult another sorcerer to find a way, but with Evil Ernie, Purgatori, and Jade all chasing after Sonja and the source of Gath’s power, there’s little time to set things right. The Age of Chaos continues!
DC has delivered a first look at pages from Nightwing #71, on sale beginning Tuesday, June 9. While Batman continues to battle The Designer and Gotham’s deadliest rogues for control of the city (Batman #92, “Their Dark Designs,” also on sale June 9), the Clown Prince of Crime pays a visit to Bludhaven for a little coffee and conversation with a still-amnesiac Ric Grayson.
If dealing with escaped super-villains isn’t enough for Ric to deal with, imagine being forced to have a chit-chat with the Harlequin of Hate! The Joker knows everything about who Ric really is, and is going to tell him, whether he wants to hear it or not! And that could mean big trouble for Nightwing, his girlfriend Bea and especially the Dark Knight!
Nightwing #71, “War for the Mind,” is written by Dan Jurgens with art by Ronan Cliquet, Nick Filardi, and Andworld Design. The main cover is by Travis Moore and Nick Filardi, with a variant cover by Alan Quah.

Red Sonja, paired with the half-vampire Chastity, is on the path to setting things right, restoring the timeline and hopefully saving humanity in the process. But Chastity isn’t the only strange visitor from another time; Jade, Evil Ernie, and Purgatori have all come to Hyboria as well, and they’ve taken a shine to the savage world as an easy place to indulge their dangerous natures. They may not take so well to the notion of going home. (Plus, Ernie gets to ride a dragon, which is almost impossible where he comes from.) The She-Devil’s adventure in the Age of Chaos continues here!
