Anybody else remember this? I found an issue in a dollar bin on the weekend from 1997 and am kinda looking forward to seeing what was in the headlines 20 years ago beyond the cover story (Amalgam Comics).

I used to read Wizard religiously. Loved that magazine and that was maybe the beginning of comic bulletin boards? Pretty sure there's still a box of Wizard magazines at my parents. I actually just bought an old copy of Inquest (their gaming mag) that something I was involved in was featured.

I never read it as much as I should have; I always ended up buying comics verses the magazine because it was much harder to find in ol' Blighty

Yeah! I miss Wizard. I have such nostalgia for that magazine and all of the fun articles. I loved seeing what would be on the cover or what movie they would cast and how.

Yeah, a lot of what Wizard did is what comic/geek blogs have just ripped off today. Fantasy castings, power rankings, Wizard really pioneered the comic blog before that was even a thing.
