A call to support a Manga Library goes out
Cam is an ambitious eleven year old. He’s on a mission to create a library at his school that’s free to all students. The twist? The library is focused on manga and to teach the culture of Japan.
Recently launched with 58 books, the project is running out of money, so a GoFundMe has been launched.
The goal is to use the money to purchase more books for the “Manga Library.”
The library will be available at more than just the school. When the year ends, the library will move to Cam’s house where it’ll be open on weekdays and anyone can borrow the books and if it all fails, the manga will be donated to the local library.
With a goal of just $600, the project has already raised close to that.
Beyond donating dollars, any publishers interested in donating manga instead?
