The Creators 4 Comics Auction has Begun!
A group of over 120 comic creators are launching an effort to raise money to help benefit comic shops. Creators4Comics was organized by Sam Humphries, Brian Michael Bendis, Kami Garcia, Gwenda Bond, and Phil Jimenez.
Beginning April 15 and running through April 20 head to Twitter to follow the hashtag #Creators4Comics and join in on the auction. Comic Books, artwork, and one-of-a-kind experiences are all on the block. Money raised will benefit the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC).
The auction is simple:
- Creators will run their own auctions tweeting the item to be bid on with #Creators4Comics
- You can scroll items being auctioned on Twitter and reply to the individual item placing your bid.
- The winning bid then donates to BINC and shows their donation receipt to the auctioneer to claim the item
