Dinco D Comes to the Baltimore Comic-Con 2018

Head to the 2018 Baltimore Comic-Con at the Inner Harbor’s Baltimore Convention Center on September 28-30, 2018. Your VIP, General Admission, Fan Package, and Ringo Award tickets are now available for purchase using a credit or debit card. The Baltimore Comic-Con has announced the addition of Dinco D to the show Saturday and Sunday.

At the dawning golden era of hip hop, Dinco D got his start with Leaders of The New School (LONS) with group members Busta Rhymes and Charlie Brown. They got their first break opening for Public Enemy. These three Uniondale, Long Island boys were soon topping the charts with hits like What’s NextCase of that PTA, and Scenario with A Tribe Called Quest. Their debut album reached #66 on the Billboard charts and #15 in the R&B/Hip Hop categories. Some of their singles reached #1 on the hip hop charts.

In the early 90’s, Dinco D and LONS were all over mainstream media, making appearances on Arsenio HallYo MTV RAPS, and countless other prime-time television appearances. The group split off and began to pursue solo careers in the mid 90’s. Dinco, Charlie, and Busta last collaborated on Busta’s debut album The Coming on the track Keep It Moving. However, they have reunited for select performances, like the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival in 2012.

Dinco’s energetic and outrageous style that he is famed for hasn’t changed a bit and keeps him busy. He is always in the studio working on collaborations, touring, performing on stages large and small, and putting out mix tapes. His true school style is seeing a renaissance in the hip hop industry today, and he continues to inspire the up-and-comers and truly be a leader!

Dinco will join veteran comics artist Rob Stull for a special limited-edition signing, promoting their creator-owned collaboration project!
