  • It’s a pretty good adaptation of the Thrawn novel. In my review, I pointed out the biggest problem I had with the comic was I wanted more. They left out major plot points and Governor Pryce was majorly downgraded when she was one of the main characters of the book. When my only real criticism is I wanted more, it was a pretty good adaptation.
My biggest issue was there was a huge revelation at the end of the novel that changes the entire novel as well as Thrawn’s relationship to the Empire, and it was cut. I was stunned they left it out.
Still, loved it. After Darth Maul and now Thrawn, I want Luke Ross to have a full run of a Star Wars comic. If they adapt Zahn’s new novel, Thrawn: Alliances, I want it to be 8-12 issues because that book is massive with a past and present story line. It would need to be longer than six issues
