Marvel has announced that on Friday, May 5^th, as part of the excitement surrounding this year’s Free Comic Book Day and the launch of Secret Empire, Marvel Comics will make a very special appearance on ABC’s “Good Morning America” to spotlight all the fun that will be made available within participating nationwide comic shops on Free Comic Book Day, Saturday, May 6th. GMA airs from 7:00-9:00 a.m. EST.

ABC is the sister station of Marvel, both are owned by parent company Disney.

This is the latest marketing move Marvel has announced. Previously the company announced it’d be expanding advertising as well as using geo-location in email to help promote local stores.
