TV Review: DC’s Legends of Tomorrow S1E16 Legendary

Legends of Tomorrow PosterIn DC’s Legends of Tomorrow season 1 ends with Rip returning the team to Central City a few months after they first left. They return to their normal lives and must decide individually whether to sacrifice everything in order to save the world.

Only in comic books can an ending like this be acceptable as Savage’s plan is laid out and sends the team across time to stop him and save all of time.

The action is solid, story a bit confusing, but something is rather fun about it all as the use of time finally feels like it’s used in an interesting way that makes things a bit crazy and unpredictable.

But, for me, it’s the last five minutes or so of the show that’s really interesting where the various individuals must return to their lives post time travel. But, after traveling through time, it’s all a rather mundane.

That leads to everyone to think through if they want to continue. Who’s ready for a second go? We do find out!

The first season of the series is rather uneven, but in the end satisfying in many ways. The show found its footing and became really entertaining. They may have started out a rag tag group, but they definitely ended as legends.

And that ending?! The second season can’t get here quick enough!
