TV Review: DC’s Legends of Tomorrow S1E15 Destiny

Legends of Tomorrow PosterIn DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Rip and Rory become incredibly disturbed for very different reasons when they get in the vicinity of the Time Masters. Meanwhile, Sara takes over the Waverider; Kendra is reunited with Carter; and Snart decides he might be a hero after all.

After the big reveal that the Time Masters have been helping Savage the entire team the team is left to figure out what to do next, but they’re captured, so that’s a bit difficult.

Like any good villain the Time Masters go into a lot of detail and basically, free will is a myth and Savage is needed due to something that happens even further in the future.

Through a whole bunch of twists and turns, it’s battle time with the Legends versus the Time Masters to take on the Time Masters and destroy their ability to manipulate time.

The episode might be the best of the season with tons of action, lots of twists and turns and actual fun, excitement, and even some sacrifice. The episode does a hell of a lot to make things pretty open going forward and in a way answers a lot of questions while fixing a lot of questions as well.

It’s a really solid pay off I think with actual sacrifice, at least actual sacrifice for at least one episode, and a lot I didn’t see coming. The heroes are actually feeling like heroes and they’re all getting their moments and shining in their own way.

With one episode left, there feels like a lot to be resolved, but we’ll see, and hopefully the finale is as solid as this episode.
