Supergirl is Renewed and Flies Over to The CW
Supergirl‘s fate was up in the air with rumors floating around as to whether the series would be renewed for a second season. Today it was announced by Warner Bros. TV that the series will see a second season, with a slight twist.
The series will no longer be on CBS where it was seen on Mondays at 8pm. Instead, the series is moving over to The CW where it will join other DC television shows like Arrow, The Flash, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and iZombie.
This season saw Supergirl crossover with the Flash for an episode, so the fit is rather natural and hopefully we’ll see more of that.
The CW is betting heavy on comic related television shows. The network also has picked up Riverdale, a new show from Archie Comics.
Now, what was in the ship at the end of Supergirl‘s first season!?
