Terry Crews is one of the most interesting actors out there today. A former football player, the actor has earned accolades from playing everything from The Old Spice Guy, to a voice on The Boondocks, and can be seen on Brooklyn Nine-Nine among other things. He’s also very honest and open, describing himself as a Feminist and never has an issue with answering questions. He also has some “comic” history voicing Blade in Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H.

Folks have wanted him to play Luke Cage in Marvel’s upcoming Netflix series, that role went to someone else, but that’s not the role Crews actually wants. In an awesome Ask Me Anything, the actor said he’d love to play a certain other character.

When asked who his favorite is, and who he’d like to play….

Again… it’s hard to pick a favorite super-hero. I always did love Luke Cage, and I’m really, really happy about who they cast in the Netflix version of Luke Cage. So that’s something that’s already done. But you know who else I’d like to play? The Silver Surfer. I always LOVED – I thought I had the build, the body, I could get on that surfboard, and if they ever do a live-action version of Silver Surfer, I think that would be perfect for me.
