It was announced on Saturday that director Peyton Reed will be replacing Edgar Wright to tackle Marvel‘s Ant-Man. Writer Adam McKay will contribute to the film’s script. This comes after week’s of speculation and false announcements by sites as to who would step up to help the project.

Reed is a hot property when it comes to movies based on comic books as he’ll also be taking on the movie adaptation of the graphic novel The Fifth Beatle. That graphic novel is based on the story of Brian Epstein, the manager of the Beatles and a major reason they broke out and become global phenomenons. So… that’s two “comic book movies” the director will be taking on.

Ant-Man hits theaters July 17, 2015 with a cast led by Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas.
