The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Fox has picked up the Batman television series Gotham for the 2014-2015 season. This really shouldn’t come as a surprise, the series has an impressive cast, and Fox would pay a penalty if they didn’t.

Gotham stars Ben McKenzie as James Gordon, Donal Logue as Harvey Bullock, Zabryna Guevara as Captain Essen, Erin Richards as Barbara Kean, Sean Pertwee as Alfred Pennyworth, Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot, Jada Pinkett Smith as Fish Mooney, Camren Bicondova as Selina Kyle and David Mazouz as a young Bruce Wayne.
