The Amazing Spider-Man broke records Tuesday, with an estimated $35 million for it’s first day.  The previous best was in 2007, set by Transformers with $27.9 million.  Original estimates plotted Spider-Man to bring in $120 million through the end of the weekend, but, Transformers went on to make $155.4 million during that same time period.  So, there’s a chance Spidey might beat the estimates.

I myself am still mulling over my thoughts about the movie, but expect a review in the next couple of days.
