Using examples from the successful direct-to-retail launch of SCAM, the panel will discuss important topics such as why indie and small-press creators should work with retailers, some prerequisites before reaching out to begin distribution, what makes a retailer want to carry your book, the limitations and approaches to building a micro-distribution network and making the leap from micro to world-wide direct market distribution.
