I’ve read PIGS #2 and it’s fantastic.  This new series from Image Comics, written by Nate Cosby and Ben McCool is beyond fantastic mixing a political thriller with the classic spy stories.  The first two issues almost have a Tom Clancy feel to them, but mixed in with Law and Order in a way.  I have no idea what to expect but I’m absolutely on board.  One of the best debuts of the year.

• PIGS #2 – See above.
• The Cape #2 – The first issue blew me away.  That ending was amazing but as a whole the art and story was absolutely fantastic.  I’d expect nothing less from Joe Hill who has brought us the amazing Locke & Key.
  
• Mega Man #6 – A great series that’s entertaining for kids and adults.  It catches the fun feel of the animated series as well as the video games they’re all based off of.
  
• Ultimate Comics X-Men #2 – Interment camps, a world that hates them, this series is as much about racism, hate and political fallout as it is about the classic feel of some of the best X-Men stories.
  
• Batwoman #2 – The first issue’s story was really good, but the art was amazing.  For that alone, the issue is a buy.
