This all started with a Twitter conversation by @avatarpress and @shopofideas on how to create a shared calendar where any shop who wished to participate could add an event for folks to see and us all to promote.  In about an hours time working with @avatarpress I whipped up the beta version of this project. And we’re slowly getting shops added to the roster.

Avatar Press has also launched a Google Map to allow anyone to add shops.
