Stephen Cooper graduated of the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1966 and recently donated the Stephen Neil Cooper Collection, featuring 202 comic books from April 1956, to RIT’s Cary Graphic Arts Collection.

Those are all of the comic books that aligned shelves of stores in 1956.  The collection includes Archie, Jungle Jim, Uncle $crooge, Nancy and Sluggo, Adventures of Mighty Mouse, MAD, The Lone Ranger, The Legends of Daniel Boone and Little Iodine and is valued at around $20,000.

The RIT Cary Graphic Arts Collection will be hosting an exhibition of the collection next spring.
