Harris Interactive Looks at Graphic Novels

A recent Harris Interactive poll takes a look at America’s reading habits.  Out of this information graphic novels was covered.  Out American’s who read one book in the past year 11% read a graphic novel.

There’s lots of information as to the genres people are reading as well.  According to this poll as people grow older they’re less likely to read graphic novels and it skews male.

Here’s the percentage by age of people who’ve read a graphic novel in the last year:

18 -33: 18%

34-45: 11%

46-64: 8%

65+: 4%

When it comes to gender the breakdown is:

Male: 15%

Female: 8%
