It was too long ago that Detective Comics #27 topped Action Comics #1 as the most money every paid for a comic book.  Comicconnect.com, the people who sold the Action Comics #1 for $1 million, have acquired another copy with a CGC rating of 8.5, the highest ever graded copy of the comic by CGC.

Bleeding Cool has reported that Comicconnect.com is seeking more money than the $1.075 million that Detective Comics #27 sold for.  So expect a new entry into the record books soon.
