The final week of the year is a skip week other than DC’s release of the latest Blackest Night issue and Marvel’s New Year’s Eve EVE Party.  Marvel is sponsoring an all day event Wednesday, December 30 at at your participating local comic shop!

Marvel will be providing giveaway items like a free 2010 Marvel Super Hero calendar, Exclusive Avengers ID Cards to collect & trade, a free comic book – Origins Of Siege – which features an all-new prologue  to the 2010 event.

“Marvel would like to thank everyone for making 2009 such a milestone year,” says Marvel Senior Vice President of Sales and Circulation Publishing David Gabriel.  “As we wrap up our 70^th Anniversary, we wanted to partner with local comic book shops to show our gratitude and also wish everyone a safe, happy, and marvelous 2010!”
