Marvel has announced there’s a lot to look forward to in the next few years when it comes to movies based on their line of comic books.  We have to look forward to Iron Man 2, Thor, The First Avenger: Captain America, The Avengers, and Spiderman 4.

Here is the newly announced adjusted release schedule and it looks like 2011 will be one hell of a year to get your geek on:

• Iron Man 2 – May 7, 2010
• Spider-man 4 – May 6, 2011
• Thor – May 20, 2011
• The First Avenger: Captain America – July 22, 2011
• The Avengers – May 4, 2012

Iron Man 2, Thor, and The First Avenger: Captain America are all part of the continuous story arc started with the first Iron Man and continued in the Incredible Hulk.  All those movies are building to The Avengers in May, 2012.
