In the latest edition of crime’s what not to do, word comes out of the Denver Post of a crime ring’s interesting tie to comic books.  The methamphetamine ring was dismantled after a year long undercover operation with around $2 million in sales a month.

The ring would take that drug money and purchase “classic” Batman and Superman comics to hide the profits.  During the bust officers found over 100 boxes of comics in their protective trappings.  That’s a lot of comics and drug money.
