A nice mix of books with some of the best being written today coming out this week.

Monthly Comics
Adam: Legend of the Blue Marvel #5 – What could of been an amazing deconstruction of minority stereotypes in comics and the evolution of the portrayal of minorities turns into a typical fight scene.  Still, it had some very good moments.

Astonishing Tales #2 – I’m loving this series so far.  A nice mix of stories.  I highly recommend the series.

Captain Britain and MI13 #11 – Dracula continues his move as MI13 reals from his attacks.

DMZ #40 – Brian Wood gives a huge middle finger to the Bush administration, the Obama administration, and the folks that elected the two, running, doing their deeds and really ending up with nothing.  Hands down, the best political commentary out there, in any medium.

Guardians of the Galaxy #11 – Drax gets philosophical about Conceptuals as he and Quasar wind up in oblivion.

The Immortal Iron Fist #23 – I’m behind, still haven’t read the pile of these that’s built up.  Slacking I know.

The Invincible Iron Man #11 – It’s Iron Man vs. War Machine as Tony continues his run from the law that is Norman Osborn.

The Walking Dead #59

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz #4 – Another series I’m slacking off and haven’t read yet.  They’re sitting there, need to just sit down and read them.

X-Men: Noir #4 – This series couldn’t end soon enough for me.  I was about to remove it from my pull list.  Horrible.
