The Savage Dragon made news before by endorsing Barack Obama for President, he now holds the pleasure of being one of the first comic book characters in congratulating the now President-elect Barack Obama.  In a one page panel for Red Eye’s Geek to Me blog.

In Savage Dragon #137 a reporter asks the character who he is endorsing as President since he made his own run for the position earlier.  The Savage Dragon states he supporting Barack Obama.  The cover for the issue depicts both of them.

The Savage Dragon’s connection to the President-elect is appropriate as the character started off as a police officer in Chicago and is returning to duty soon.
