At the end of the mid-season, Gotham debuted a new villain and gave us a better idea as to what the “Rise of the Villains” subtitle for the season was all about. The final moments gave us a first look at Batman villain Mr. Freeze and the title screen had ice form all over it. Victor Fries/Mr. Freeze is played by Nathan Darrow.

What his backstory is, and how it compares to the comics, we don’t know, but, we have a look.

Gotham returns to Fox in February.
