Guardians Tops the Box Office Again

hr_Guardians_of_the_Galaxy_46Its been six weeks since Guardians of the Galaxy hit theaters, and it again topped the box office this past weekend. For the fourth time, the movie was number one, that’s a record that only The Dark Knight, Avatar, and The Hunger Games have done in the past ten years.

The film earned an additional $10.2 million this past weekend, and domestically has earned $294.6 million. It’ll easily cross the $300 billion mark. The question is, how long can this go, especially as the fall movie season begins to ramp up?

In other comic movie news, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles earned $6.5 million, bringing its domestic total to $174.6 million.
