After being knocked out of the top spot for the past two weeks by a bunch of turtles, Guardians of the Galaxy has returned to the top spot at the box office. In its fourth week, the film has earned an estimated $17.6 million. The film has now earned $251.88 million domestically.

In the third week of release Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles earned $16.8 million, bringing its domestic total to $145 million.

In other comic movies news Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez’s Sin City: A Dame to Kill For has debuted doa, winding up in eighth place with just $6.5 million for its first week. The film was projected at one point to debut with $15 million, so this is a disappointment. The original film opened with $29.6 million in 2005. This newest film cost $70 million compared to the first’s $48 million. Men made up 64% of the audience for the film, and 78% were under the age of 25.
