Marketing Monday: Who is the Top Dog on Facebook?

It’s Monday which means a new Marketing Monday and checking out how the various Facebook fanpages have grown or shrunk over the past week.

Overall, the pages continued to grow, this week gaining 220,879 individuals total, a 0.81% increase. That’s three weeks in a row as far as improvement in growth. There are some massive jumps that make me think some folks are advertising on the site, and it’s not organic growth.

Movement has also increased for pages as far as changing their ranks. I’ve added arrows next to what has increased in ranking. Hopefully it makes sense.

ComicBook.com drops to second this week, from what’s likely not organic growth (ie they’re buying ads). The top spot though is new digital comics app Farrago Comics which will have a push at SDCC. Valiant also jumps to third, with ComicBlitz (another digital comic app) placing in fourth.
